February 13, 200917 yr I actually like what Fran said in the studio, that teams often play 5 games above their heads, another 5 below their ability, and the rest about where they really are.....That really hit home to me, and seems to be the case in this game for both squads.

And when these two happen in the same game...
February 13, 200917 yr WOW... Just when i thought U of L was playin as good as any 1 in the country this happens.
February 13, 200917 yr This was a MUST win for the Irish and if they can finish 9-9 then they have a good shot to get in IMO.
February 13, 200917 yr If they finish .500 in the conference, they are in, IMO. I know they just crushed UofL, but they lost to quite a few teams they should have beat. I really don't think they have a legit chance to finish at .500 (in conference) let alone coming within a game ot two of .500. ND, at this point, is way out of the NCAA Tourney. Remaining Schedule: South Florida @ West Virginia @ Providence Rutgers @ Connecticut Villanova St. John's There's still 2-3 loses in there. They'd have to run the rest of their schedule (minus UConn) and I just don't see any chance that happens. 4 wins & 7 loses right now (in conference). I see them finishing with a conference record of 8 wins and 10 loses. Edited February 13, 200917 yr by Lucky Charms
February 13, 200917 yr ^ I agree...but IF they were to get to .500, they're in, IMO. And I would have to agree as well. :thumb: But they left themselves in a tough hole.
