Papa's got a brand-new poll (10th Region, installment 2)

Featured Replies

Since Mason Co basically had GRC beat and a call goes GRC's way at the end.

Mason Co beat Scott by 21.

GRC beat Scott by 11 and 10.

How can Scott be ahead of Mason Co? :ohbrother::rolleyes:

Hit your free throw and Mason Co wins the game.

Did you see the call in the Ky/Florida game at the end...same call. Again comes to free throws and Florida wins.

Free throws wins games.:thumb:

Glad to see you do the ranking papa. Good job.:thumb:

Elliott Co would have beat Scott by 20+.

I'm not taking sides, but they beat Mason by 15. Honestly as a neutral fan in this one I think both teams are pretty much equal. The one difference I believe is Middleton. I don't think that Scott has that one guy that can get them a bucket when they need it. Oh and just to refresh everybody's memory GRC had a double double in street clothes against both Mason and Scott(the second time) and still pulled out wins. And Zollo was sick against Mason. Thats pretty scary. I love the way Mason fought until the buzzer against Elliot tonight. I thought it was a little disrespectful of Elliot to keep running up and down the court to run up the score. I have a feeling that was a little revenge for the loss Mason gave em last year. The Royals still represented the 10th very well.

Its GRC and then the rest don't matter what order after that.

Talk about a headscratcher. The above and then this score.

Augusta 64 Bishop Brossart 61

Isn't that the truth. Maybe I should have waited a few hours for tonight's linescores to come in before doing the poll.

I disagree, Scott and Mason Co are very close. If we had everyone healthy, Rogers and Pervis....then yes I would agree with your statement. We have not had 1 game this year with everyone healthy, but yet the Cards find a way to win. Do we have the bulleye on our back...yes we do. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Surely you are not saying that a 15 point game was running up the score. Tell me it ain't so.

You are correct! The Scott/Mason game was very close at the lead was never bigger than a 5 points throughout most of the whole game. Mason had a 5 point lead with about 2 1/2 minutes left in the 4th quarter where Scott just seemed to run out of gas and just threw up shots and then Mason caught fire and put a hurting on them. Scott has definitely improved since then but I'd still have them behind Mason for the time being.

In general, and I think most will agree with this, the Region this year will be between GRC, Mason and Scott. GRC is the favorite, with Mason and Scott following just behind. Each and every team is talented and well coached and for one of those teams to win the region, they will need to play their best basketball yet and even get a little luck and then they will have punched their tickets to Rupp for the big time.

I would still argue for the: 1a Clark 1b Mason. I agree that Scott is dangerous, however.

If Scott plays the way they did against Holmes in the Regional Tournament I would not be surprised to see Scott lacing them up at Rupp.

They tried to run up the score in the last 1:30. Didn't say it worked.
