Papa's got a brand-new poll (10th Region, installment 2)

Featured Replies

1. Clark County. Regardless of how the game with Mason County was won, it was won by Clark County. They get the nod, as they did in the first incarnation of the poll.

2. Mason County. The close ones are still eluding the Royals. They call them free throws for a reason.

3. Scott. The thriller vs. Holmes cements the Eagles' spot at #3. They will be a very tough out at tourney time.

4. Campbell County. Four agonizing losses in a row, all to quality teams (Scott, Boone, Highlands and Clark) are not enough to drop the Camels; who desperately need a healthy Albrecht down the stretch.

5. Bishop Brossart. Rieger has developed into a very nice player. A pretty good team from the 37th will be watching the 10th Region tournament from the stands, and the Mustangs don't want to be that team.

6. Montgomery County. Need to get everyone back and stop the Jeykyll and Hyde act. Very nice win vs. Conner, followed by the double-digit loss to Morgan County.

7. Harrison County. 9-3 in the region, but have been handled when they've played the big boys.

8. Calvary Christian. Surprise win in the All-A - their first regional title in any sport - vaults the Cougars into the top 8.

9. Deming. Tough call between Deming and Pendleton, but the Devils have the better body of work. The big win over Brossart in the All-A has to count for something.

10. Pendleton County. Take these next few spots and put them in a hat. The Wildcats get the nod with recent wins over Deming and Bourbon.

11. St. Patrick. Have feasted on Polar Bear this season, looked horrible against Brossart and Campbell.

12. Bourbon County. 4 of the Colonels' 5 region wins have come against Paris and Silver Grove.

13. Augusta. Listed ahead of Bracken County because of alphabetical status.

13. Bracken County. See above.

15. Nicholas County. Nice double-digit win over Paris last time out.

16. Paris. St. Pat, Augusta and Burgin round out the regular season for the Hounds. Chance to get another win or two.

17. Silver Grove. Congrats on the first region win of the year over Augusta.

I'd probably switch Harrison and Montgomery, but other than that... looks great!

Looks good to me! nice poll.:thumb:

How can Scott go ahead of Mason Co? :eyeonyou::idunno:

Because they are better...

Mason hasn't improved nearly as much as Scott has in 2 months, but it won't matter because only 1 (GRC) can move on.

Tonights game didn't help to change my mind in favor of Mason, I just think that Scott will be ready to play when it counts @ NKU.

Scott is good, but not THAT good.

Elliott Co would have beat Scott by 20+.
