I guess I went to the only college where they smoked marijuana in the early 80's. I wasnt a big smoker in college either but I would be lying if I said I never did.....and I inhaled too!! I remember a study from that period that said 81% of the people during this period tried marijuana.....Someone was doing some smoking!

Thank you. I wasnt bragging because its certainly not something to be proud of but I have always been honest about it and used the experience to talk about drug use with my kids!:thumb:

I feel like Marijuana's linked to everything these days. :confused: Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Obama say something about legalizing it at one point? Heard it word of mouth so I'm not quite sure.

I think this study is interesting but there needs to be a lot more people involved in the study before any real conclusions can be drawn.

I still can't think of why we outlaw it. Why not legalize it, tax it, and make money instead of spending money catching those who are smoking it, and selling it?

 

It's not any more dangerous than Alcohol IMO.

I can list many other things that Alcohol can do that harm you though.

You're right. Alcohol doesn't necessarily cause testicular cancer; however, there is a strong association between alcohol and cancers of the esophagus, pharynx & mouth. Not too mention the more controversial association with liver, breast & colorectal cancer.

That is what is so shocking to me. The number of alcohol related deaths are absolutely staggering.

Alc leads to liver cancer. You can walk in the store and get enough to get all of BGP feelin good. But you are not allowed to buy a little weed that will effect you as much. Stifles me.

I think I read one article that estimated around 4 or 5 per year..but that is not an "official" number by any means.

Find a man 18 to 44 who hasnt used marijuana. When I was in college, you couldnt turn around without someone sticking a joint in your face!(Although Im to old for the study)
