District 34 Tourney will be at Villa Madonna:

 

#1 Seed : St. Henry

#2 Seed : Lloyd Memorial

#3 Seed : Dixie Hieghts

#4 Seed : Villa Madonna

#5 Seed : Ludlow

 

Villa and Ludlow will play each other for the chance to play St. Henry.

 

Lloyd will play Dixie.

 

This district used to be a blind draw, but since St. Henry moved in, it is now seeded. St. Henry went undefeated durring the regular season in this district. Is St. Henry the heavy favorite? Can Dixie take it from them? Will Dixie get past Lloyd this time? Is Lloyd a sleeper? Ludlow? Can Villa get past Ludlow and play St. Henry close again? Any chance at upsets, or pretty straight foward?

Hard to tell with St. Henry so far. Not only have they played very well against teams like Conner, Dixie, an improving Lloyd team, and Muhlenburgh North during Christmas tournament, they have had awful games against Boone, LexCath, and Oak Hills (OH).

 

To add to that the Crusaders play at Ludlow on Tuesday. This will be the first game since the very tough loss to rival NCC in the ALL A semis. The Cru has had 18 days in between games. Something unheard of in HS bball but due to the snow and other cancelations its been a long couple of weeks in the practice gym.

St. Henry and Lloyd in the finals. St. Henry wins the district.

I think St. Henry will play Dixie in the finals and win!

The Ludlow game is actually Monday night.

Are the dates and times set yet?

I say St Henry and Dixie in the finals. I don't think Dixie will let Lloyd slip past them this time. I think it was a wake up call when Lloyd beat them in o/t. I think for the winner of the district, it is seriously a toss up. I believe that Dixie has truly improved since meeting the first time this season and has a shot at winning the district.

I'm gonna go with Villa over Ludlow, then St. Henry over Villa in a very surprising, close game at Villa's home court. On the other side I see Dixie beating Lloyd. In the finals I think Dixie will come out as a very improved team and beat St. Henry to win the District.

I think Dixie and St. Henry meet in the finals with St. Henry ending Dixie's consecutive win streak of district titles.

 

I'd really like to see Lloyd make it to the region tourney though and knock off Dixie in the semi's.

I'd really like to see Lloyd beat Dixie twice in the same year, but I just don't think that will happen. I think it will be St. Henry and Dixie in the finals, with St. Henry winning it all.
