I'll take Mason County in a nail bitter 68-67. I think this game will be decided inside one minute left. GRC has the home court advantage, but GRC is missing two good inside players with injuries. I agree that Setty needs a big game for Mason with probably 25-27 points.

 

Mason Co fans don't believe in the home court advantage.....just read any thread on "Where is the 10th region going to be held".

Having seen both teams play this year, I like Mason County in this one. Middleton is a handful and if players coming of MC's bench get hot then they will be tought to beat. With Rogers out GRC will not have that solid 3rd scoring option. I'll take Mason by 8

Yes, GRC still has that 3rd option in Zollo, Hatton or Stenzel.

That statement was completely incorrect. GRC has Hatton, Stenzel, and Zollo all three of these players score very well and do so on a very steady pace. I feel like GRC steps up the D and wins this one by 11.

They didn't have home court advantage in the region last year and they wiped the floor with everybody in their path.

Yes, with that team they went on and won the state tourney too.

Take Mason by 1+. I think this will be a very close game and might come down to the wire if not ot.

Please correct me if I am wrong.. but Hatton IMO cannot take the place of Rogers. He is a great player, and I'm sure he is an excellent young man, but he is not a night in and night out reliable scorer like Rogers was. Sure, he may be able to go off for 15 pts occasionally, but that does not qualify him as a solid 3rd scoring option. But that is just my opinion.

You are entitled to your opinion. But I disagree. Robert is a reliable/solid socrer. I am also sure that the coaches at Mason Co. are not over looking him either.
