February 3, 200917 yr I think the Bengals will have a much better record next season. Have you seen their schedule? There are a lot of winnable games... And they have a habit of losing even winnable games.

February 4, 200917 yr Maybe so. Have you seen their schedule, though? I have not looked at it, but given the nature of this squad I will be shocked to see better than an 8-8 record next season even if they played all college squads.
February 4, 200917 yr I dont understand this. . What makes the Patriots and Cowboys more favored to win it than the Steelers? The Cowboys clearly cannot get the job done with what they have, and the Patriots defense is old and depleted. Who all are the Steelers expected to be losing from this year's team? The hardest thing to do in sports is repeat.

The great thing about the NFL is that there isn't a huge difference between the 6-10 teams and the 10-6 teams. The NFC North was bad this year, though. I like the Bengals' chances against that division much more than the Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, etc.
February 4, 200917 yr Ravens (Home & Away) Browns (Home & Away) Steelers (Home & Away) Broncos Chiefs Bears Lions Texans @ Raiders @ Packers @ Chargers @ Jets @ Vikings Being a Pitt fan, I have to love the divisions we are playing next year. If the Bengals get healthy soon, this would be the year to do it.
February 4, 200917 yr I really like the Vikings if they can get a QB. I would like to see them draft Josh Freeman from Kansas State. Out of the AFC i will take the Pats or Steelers.
February 4, 200917 yr Next year the Steelers will lose Marvel Smith who was on IR at the end after back issues. He was on the last year of the contract. He's a standout former probowl LT when healthy and they will let him go or sign him at a terrific reduction. Max Starks who replaced him will either be resigned or let go in FA. LG Kemoeatu, whom I thought was poor, was on his last contract year and you know how that SB ring does, someone will pay him in FA for that reason alone. Not too much other movement with the possibility of Larry Foote and he will be replaced by Lawrence Timmons. The only future FA that I hope P'burgh signs is McFadden. We can thank the Bengals and Benson for breaking his arm and putting him on the shelf for 6 weeks or he would have been on of the top CB's in the FA market this offseason, and I hope that they resign him at a reasonable $.

I think McFadden is the Steelers top priority this offseason and I would put Nate Washington #2. I read somewhere that Pitt is 20 million under the cap. I would love for them to lock down a big time Offensive tackle, but thats not their style. I expect to see 3 lineman picked (OL or DL) in the Steelers first 5 or 6 picks this coming draft. Rock on Black and gold! :ylsuper:
February 4, 200917 yr Ravens over Vikings with Matt Cassell as their QB The Ravens with Cassell? Or the Vikes with Cassell?
