Thinking of getting a new cell phone

Featured Replies

Blackberrys are great but you must be willing to pay an extra 30 bucks a month for Blackberry charges.

Same with iPhone.

I have AT&T and love them. I just upgraded to a propel by Samsung and it fits me real well. I don't need a lot of stuff and it does a lot more than I'll ever figure out.

The battery could last longer. Mine is Crimson colored and plays "Yea Alabama". :notworthy:

How long did it take you to update??

Does anyone know where i could get a blackberry pearl used? I don't want to pay full price for a new one and my contract isn't up with at & t for about another year or so.

Try shopping on ebay, you can sometimes find a deal there.

Can you get the 3G IPhone for free with a 2 year contract? How much is it a month? I get a phone through work that pays for $125 a month on the bill. I'm thinking hard about getting an iphone 3G if I can get a package with text/net for $125 or less a month that is a good package.

HB I swear I think I just saw at Wal Mart the Curve for like $6 with a 2 year contract.

No.

Anybody ever gotten a refurbashed phone? The Iphone is only $100 if you go that route.

Just got a new contract with ATT a couple of weeks ago.. Two IPhones @99.00 and a LG Vu and a Blackberry Curve for free and they waived the $125.00 activation fee...

We have Iphones and love them. I had the Blackjack before the Iphone for 1 day and I hated it.

What is it that makes the IPhone so good? I will be using it for calls, text, net, mail and calender probably more than anything.

There is just a lot you can do with it. You do have to get a special I phone plan on top of your service, which is $30. Its very fast and easy access to the web and all. Its very worth it I think. It's hard to go into detail on what all you get and can do with it. I would go into an AT&T store and play around on the demos they have up.

I have a Blackjack and would not recommend it to anyone... Mine freezes quite often and I have to take the battery out and put it back in to get it going again... Sometimes when I go to recent calls, it won't let me view anything except the last call that was made/received, while other times it lets me scroll through all of them. Nothing has ever been spilled on it, but the buttons are starting to stick.

Some people may have had a good experience with this phone, but not I.
