Someone will shock UK in SEC play and Ole Miss will shock someone before the season is over, Tuesday is the night both get the surprise. Ole Miss has enough speed to keep Jodie Meeks from going crazy so the whole game comes down to how well they get the ball inside to Patterson. They won't Meeks will be a tad off on the road and he'll keep on shooting instead of pounding the ball in.

You always have so much "faith" in Meeks :thumb:

This isn't the same Ole Miss team that they were earlier in the season. They have been torn apart with injuries and have gone 4-6 over their last 10 games - including losses to Southern Miss and Alabama. They will be tough to play on their home court and will be competitive, but it would be an upset if they were to defeat Kentucky at this point in the season. And as far as that Meeks plan goes - every team he faces puts their best defensive player on him and we see how well that's worked out.

I probably shouldn't be so critical of Meeks, every time I am he shoves my foot down my throat for me. But Ole Miss has only lost 6 games at home under Kennedy so beating them in Oxford will be a tough task.

I was just looking and they've lost to WVU and LSU at home this season. They have also lost 4 out of 5, but 3 of those were on the road in the SEC. It will be a hardfought game, but I think the Cats will prevail.

Kentucky big 2 1/2 (Meeks, Patterson and Stevenson) are combining to average:

51.9 PPG 19.7 RPG 5.8 APG 4.5 BPG 2.9 SPG

That's a pretty nice contribution from the top 3.
