gold sunrise
Reading many posts I have seen where players are injured and have to sit out....some the whole season ....some several games. Thought it would be interesting to start a thread and list the injuries to your team. I will start. George Rogers Clark High Zollo...statred the season coming off of a broken leg. Pervi...tore ACL...out for the season Stenzel..ankle sprain Hatton..high ankle sprains in both ankles Rogers..(surgery...unrelated to sports) broken nose...out indefinitely. Williams...sprained ankle These are all the top 6 players on the team. Don't look for us to be 100% come post season. How has the injury bug effected your team this year? B-Ball-fan
OMG... Would someone like to do the honors for CovCath? I've lost track... Congratulations to them on a fantastic win against Montgomery. It has to be a much needed boost for their spirit. They've suffered a lot this year. I'm sure someone out there can go down the list... bigblueinsanity
Downing has been hurt some this year for Mason Co as well as Pawsat. Both seem okay now.
B-Ball-fan
I knew that I recently saw a CovCath listing out there somewhere. This is from the Tates Creek/CovCath thread from the other day. Mitch Shover at the Cleveland Clinic Max Pauly out with Mono Jake Thelen out with a broken elbow Michael Robinson out with some sort of leg cramps Alex Connolly out with sprained ankle
mcraycraft
Also wasn't Curtis hurt in football and they didn't expect him to play basketball this season? Yes, he had to have emergency surgery late in the football season and was not expected to be back. Matter of fact, when it happened he was giving up basketball this season and concentrating on being ready for baseball.
PAPA PIGSKIN
Humphries for Anderson county Doctors say he has 3 fractures. Happened late against North Oldham.. Huge loss he was their 6 man but basically played starter minutes. He was the biggest player they have and had some impressive showings against some of the states best. mcpapa
Downing has been hurt some this year for Mason Co as well as Pawsat. Both seem okay now. Along with Hamm. I think the only game where more than one was out in the same game (Hamm and Downing) was the opener against Highlands; although they both may have been out @ CovCath as well. B-Ball-fan
Robinson and Connolly are JV players...Mitch and Thelen are the only two real big losses. Depends on how you look at it. Pauly was the backup to Shover and he's been out too. I think this displays how deep CovCath's wounds go. Even the backups are out with issues. They're now actually going with their 3rd option at the point with Maschinot (spelling?). Pauly certainly became quite important with Shover out and then whatever experience he had could not be utilized either. Truly, I don't want to get knit-picky about it, but if a varsity team needs to go with their 3rd option at point, it makes their 2nd look like Kyle Macy and losing him is a big deal as well.
