Whopper! And now after reading this I am starving. Some of my other favorites include: Sonic #2 with cheese, Whitecastle's and the cheeseburger basket you used to be able to get at Lowes in Greenup, before they closed down.

Anyone in NKY ever been to a small place in Latonia called Bard's Burger? Very good burger. VERY good.

I've also heard Mahogany's in Latonia has a strong burger. I might check it out this weekend.

I said Big Mac, because I like everything thats on it more. But overall I do like BK's burgers more.

Anyone ever had the "Thompson Burger" from Willy's sports cafe?

Lived in the area all my life and I've never had one.

You have to try it. Double Bacon Cheeseburger is the bomb. Their Gyro is great to.

From the list - Wendy's Double

But my favorite is Other - Sawyers (downtown Lexington close to DeSha's.)

I know the owner of Bard's Burger. Super nice man.

And I have also heard their burgers are amazing! Have to try it sometimes, though I'm not a big burger fan.

Smash Burger from Dairy Cheer & the Big Boy from Jimbo's in Morehead--those are great...not sure if they are even in existance any more-but that was some good stuff!

Oh man, good ole Jimbo's. Long gone now. I loved the platter from there. More fries than one person could handle. Back in the day I raced back to Wilson Hall for the good stall more times than I care to remember.

Love me some Delites. Voted best burger in Maysville, but I usually get a Gyro.

I was in Joseph Beth this (well, Saturday) afternoon and started leafing through a book called something like "101 Places to eat in Kentucky". Maysville had two of them - Delites and Hutchison's.

Neither is there. I used to get a Smash Burger and a banana split in a cup just about every time I went to the Dairy Cheer.:thumb:

I'm confused. Can you still get Delites? What was the place on the corner up from the old Maysville gym that had the slider burgers similar to White Castle? My mom used to take me there when I was young. We would pick up a bag of little burgers and drive out to the "zoo" so I could marvel at the ostriches and llammas while I enjoyed them.

Delites is on Market Street - run by John and Erato Kambelos.

What you're thinking of is the old White Light.

Thats it, thanks.:thumb: I'm behind the times on Delites. I know where it is now. I associate it with gyros. I will have to make it a point to try a burger.
