If you carry this out based on votes Russell County is the #15 team in the state?? Know they have only lost one game, but who have they played?? They don't show up anywhere else in any other poll??

 

Shelby Valley only gets 2 votes and isn't in the Top 20 teams in KY?? With one exception (Elliott County at #5) they obviously don't like Regions 14-16.

I think that Corbin should have made the top 10 so I think that you can include the 13 region in there too!

Corbin's losses to Knox Central and Scott are what hurt them. I don't think you'd see many, if any, other top 10 teams losing to either of those two. The 13th really isn't that strong either.

I would move Highlands to Number 13 or 14 after their convincing victory over Boone Co tonight.

Highlands is definetly top 15.

 

They now own wins over #15 Boone and #12 Mason Co. That's more top 20 wins than some top 10 teams have. They also beat Boone worse than #6 Eastern and #20 Trinity did....COMBINED.

I agree that losses to KCC and Scott probably hurt. I personally think that Corbin is rated appropriately. In fact, I would say that just about any of these teams could beat the other on a given night.

 

Then again, I'm not a big fan of the polls. I played on team ranked #1 in the state for several weeks and we lost in the 1st round of the regional. No one remembers polls - just trips to Rupp.
