I agree that they were overrated. I said so before TT, Texas, and OU played.

OSU won a big game 3 years ago against a freshman making his first start of his career. ND was pretty good a few years ago, but look at their bowl history lately. OSU would never have gone through the SEC unbeaten or even w/o 2 losses in the last 5 years IMO. Oh and it looks like the B12 wasn't that good afterall.

 

ND was pretty darn good that year Ohio State beat them. I never said a word about OSU going 12-0 in the SEC, then beating a Bama or UF to win the title. Ohio State's not in the SEC, so why worry about that? It's amazing what people go to, to show hatred for a program or a conference. Give it a break. The Big 12 was the most exciting conference for me to watch this year, they had basketball scores for half their games. The SEC is a more dominant defensive conference, obviously, but the Texas-Texas Tech game, and Texas-OU were both amazing games. The Big 12 was far, far from overrated..

The only thing overrated in the big 12 is Sam Bradford. The Heisman trophy winner couldn't get it done against the real Heisman.

That would be my assessment. However that doesn't mean they are a bad or even overrated conference.

When I first read your post, I thought you meant the ND win of 3 years ago, not the Texas game. For some reason I misread that. But back on the true topic of this thread, the Big 12 being weak, I will continue to disagree with that.
