Top 10? Heck beating Manual tells me they could very well be among the top three, if not the beat team in the state! Wow ... I'm shocked by this!:eek:

Rowan is the real deal! All the girls play extremely hard. GO Lady Vikings.

Congrats Coach Tackett and Lady Vikings!!! Great Game to watch!! The girls played their hearts out tonight and deserved this victory! Great coaching job also to Coach Tackett!

Rowan Co. really played well in this game. They lead after the 1st but went behind untill midway through the 4th. Then Jennifer Brockman took over and lead the Lady Vikings to the win.

 

Manual is the real deal and they deserved their ranking but what stunned me was their in ability to match the intensity of Rowan Co. The Lady Vikings played hard and got after their tail's. I was waiting for Manual to respond but they never did. With Manual's talent and depth they could be unbeatable if they played with the passion and intensity that the Lady Vikings played with tonight.

 

Great Job Ladies!!!! Rowan County Lady Vikings has arrived!! It is up to them to get it done.

No question about it. This cements the Lady Vikings' place in the top 5, IMO...

Let's not be too tough on the crimsons. This was a much bigger game for Rowan than for Manual. And that place is an awfully tough place for teams from outside the 16th region to get a win.

I think Rowan plays both Lexington Catholic and Lexington Christian on their home court over the next month or so.

Rowan County is a very solid team, and deserves some attention.

Think so? The Manual coach came in last night and told Coach Tackett that this should be a good one, because Manual was # 1 and RC was #8 in the Maxpreps poll. I know, cause I was standing there. So, it was a big game for Manual too. Don't try to diminish what the Lady Vikings accomplished. And it wouldn't be nearly as hard to get a win there if they lady Vikes weren't pretty good.

Not trying to diminish anything...relax.

 

Just saying I would bet the Rowan kids would be more excited about playing Manual than the Manual kids were about a three hour bus ride and playing a team they know nothing about.
