AFC Wild Card: Colts vs. Chargers

Featured Replies

I think this is going to be a great football game. Great rivalry over past 3 years, two hottest teams in football, all the marquis players. Colts D is playing a bit better, but Charger running game has really exploded the past few weeks. I'll take the last team with the ball.

This is the best Wildcard game I am looking forward too.

Colts 31

Bolts 27

The Colts will win by 2-3 TD's...

The Chargers beat 3 teams above .500 this year...

During this "hot streak" they beat one decent team (Tampa Bay).

Sorry, I'm not buying the Chargers as a dangerous team that's going into the playoffs on a roll. I hope they win, because of the 4 first round teams, I'd definitely prefer to see San Diego come to Nashville and play Tennessee.

It's absolutely pathetic that one of those two AFC West teams got into the playoffs at the expense of a New England team that won 11 games.

PATHETIC.

Anything can happen in the NFL, that's for sure. But, I'll take the Colts 34-17.

I wouldn't even consider Tampa a decent team. They failed to make the playoffs because they couldn't beat OAKLAND at home. They are not good.

I know that by their seed a win for the Colts would be an upset, but I really feel like the Colts are favored by many in this one...with that being said, I will take the Chargers upsetting the Colts lol.

Funny how you would expect this matchup preseason but not the way it has worked out! Something about the Colts bothers me... Oline.. no run game... run defense... Bob Sanders health. I still think Peyton steers them to another win this week though!

San Diego crushed New England earlier this year. They also crushed the Jets. They played horrendously in Pittsburgh and lost by a point. They lost to the Colts on a last-second field goal. They lost to Carolina by a point.

The Chargers have played horrendously at times this year, but they have played a lot of tough teams this year and I'm not sure the question of "deserve" really comes in to play. I certainly don't see Indy's defense holding them to 17, particularly when they gave up 20 to them midseason when the Chargers couldn't beat eggs.

Never let it be said I don't defend my team.

I will take Peyton Manning and Co. in this one. I am not sold on the Chargers this year.

Cromartie seems to have Peyton's number. That should be interesting. Dallas Clark has quitely been putting on a show as of late.

I will take the Colts by 10 since LT is not 100%.
