Romes has gotten a lot bigger since last year. I personally think Beuttel is the better of the two.

Beuttel is the better basketball player. Romes is the better overall athlete.

Bryan was good but last year he was always Robin to Love's Batman. Love deserved to be option 1 anyways he was playing varsity for what? 5 years? It just helped their team a lot to have someone like Bryan as option 1A...

Bryan was the main focal point of the defense most nights, and what does how long someone plays varsity have to do with winning POY?

Bryan was much better. He was quicker, stronger, great defender, and a pretty good shooter... Love just reaped all the benefits created by Bryan

Hall and Love were both well deserving of their honors last year. They were hands down the two best SENIORS in DIII last year.

No, not hands down at all, that was a very talented class, and I bet the best player on every team was about equal, most teams have two great players.

Not really, maybe you didn't see many games.

Actually yes I did, about every team twice, most teams more thanks.

Flannigan, and there other guard from Calvary were both very talented, Pelle from Grove was a great guard, St. Blancard from Heritage did it all, Kessen, Bryan, and Macintosh from Bellevue were great, and even Hamilton from Villa led the scoring and rebounding for them.

Nothing personal just asking, but Flannigan is solid and Hamilton was underrated but the others I wasn't as impressed by.

Really?

I don't think he can win it anymore. He is leading this team no where and after seeing that Beechwood game I take it back...

Timmy Massey and Shawn Eastin from Dayton are having real nice seasons to date.

I think you have to give it to Blake Bryan, or one of the 2 from Beechwood. No others could be in contention IMO

UNless one of these kids leads the Devils to the Regional tournament and an upset 1st round victory and Eastin averages 20+ it aint happening. Too much talent in D3 this season.

I say Bryan gets it due to scoring avg and overall consistent play. I know you can say they dont have wins and losses but he is still playing the same conference schedule as every other player.

That is the debate.

I don't know if I would say there is too much talent this year, but rather I think it's more there really is a lack of talent so it's only between a few people.

I disagree. I think there is a few players who are really very good. That means the kind of guys that would normally get consideration in D3 aren't getting it. Bryan is hands down the best player in D3 in my opinion. I could see where you would make a case for Romes or Buettel, but I don't think you can say that both of them are definitely better than Bryan.
