2009- Bryan villa, Romes and Buettel Beech, Flannigan from Calvary

 

 

2008- Alex Hall Beechwood, the foward they had as well, Stephen Love Villa, Hamilton as well, Austin Kessen Bellevue Derek Bryan as well, Stephen Pelle Silver Grove, Jared Rouse Ludlow.

 

2007-Corey Pelle Silver Grove Teddy Wiesmen, Scotty Haynes Bellevue, Chris Hightchew Dayton, Baker from Calvary

 

2006- Bechwood all the starters, Bellevue Jeremy Wight Chris Kilgore, Silver Grove oldest Pelle, Villa Shcuh and the other guard, Dayton ryan polly and the big forward, heritage had older st. Blancard, Calvary had the tall blonde kid.

 

2005- Heritage Capel, Grove Mcarter, dayton Ed Holmes, can't think of any others

 

I'd say this year matches up with any of those, and possibly is more talented.

Sanford maybe? This might be too late for him), Dayton ryan polly and the big forward(No idea who the other big forward is. Polly didn't finish the season on the team.), heritage had older st. Blancard(Rick), Calvary had the tall blonde kid.(No idea who the tall Blonde kid is but this is the year they had Baker.)

 

2005- Heritage Capel, Grove Mcarter(and one of the Horstman boys I think, you can include Justin Pelle here too), dayton Ed Holmes(Truthfully didn't do much of relevance, just very very big), can't think of any others(Yarborough from Calvary I beleive, Romes again, Wight again)

If you say that, you could throw in Snyder and Smith from Beechwood too this season.

 

How could you compare them two to Miracle, chas moore, eric sawyer, romes. I just can't see them being compared.

Well you don't have to. That's what makes this site great. You seem to have fond memories of some older small school players that might be blinding you a little bit.

I could see where you're coming from as far as overall league, but I think where we're differing is i'm speaking as a class like just the senior class.

As basketball players yes.

 

I actually am going to agree with ES here... While Snyder and and Smith are great defensive presences for Beechwood, neither are guys that you would expect to give you a big offensive output. Maricle, Moore, and Sawyer weren't bad defenders and each of them could go for 20 on any given night. I would be very surprised to see that out of Snyder or Smith.

Yes definately. Because the original comment was about DIII talent being down this year. DIII talent isn't down, maybe DIII senior class talent is down but DIII in general is as usual. And BTW if you were only talking senior class Bryan shouldn't have been mentioned either... He is a junior...

Well if that's what you meant then OK I could see it maybe. But again you wouldn't have mentioned Bryan if you were talking about the senior class so IDK.

Yes I can see, I was just comparing senior classes, but some of these kids have been on the varsity scene at least 8 years lol....

Would be an interesting match up. Beuttel vs Sawyer, Romes vs Romes, Pohlgeers vs Moore, Snyder vs Edminston, and Smith vs Miracle.
