Ashlands first home game, can we have a poll.

I'm curious, is there the same lovefest between these two schools in basketball as there is in football? This thread has been open for an hour and a half and no love yet.

 

I'll pick Ashland by 20.

Raceland has to get better guard play. They are young and should get better as the season goes but as for now it is going to be along season if they dont. Ashland should win this game but I will be cheering for the Rams to pull the upset.

How has Racelands football players fit into the system? I watched Raceland in a scrimmage without there football players and it looked like Ashland should have no problem. But this was without the football players.

Raceland's young guards had better grow up fast, Barker and Boyles can only do so much for this team.

Racelands guards(excludingBoyles) dribble with their head down. This is why there are so many turnovers and poor guard play.

Raceland is not playing very well at all right now. Ashland is Ashland, they have a tradition 2nd to none in basketball as well as football. The Tomcats program as well as their fans are a class act all the way.

I do believe that Raceland's young team will get nothing but better as the season goes on. I just believe that the Tomcats may be too much for my Rams at this point in the season.

I think I'm gonna vomit. You've been listening to the Tomcat p.r. machine. Since consolidating Ashland has been mediocre and the numbers support my claim.

 

With that said thus far Raceland has been the region's biggest disappointment I will go with Ashland by 16.

Don't get sick over it mayor :lol:, just an opinion. If that is your opinion then so be it. I don't have a problem with it.

 

Besides, I don't think an Ashland p.r. machine got them more wins than any program in Ky. High School basketball history (unless I am mistaken they still own that honor). If it did, then I want those p.r. guys .

I just believe that if someone wants to look at history and tradition then you look at all of it, not just the years/parts that they want to. :thumb:
