December 7, 200817 yr Did any of you all actually watch the game? The wind was blowing like crazy. The Eagles had a better game plan and executed it better than the Giants today, that's why they won.
December 7, 200817 yr I know you're a big fan and all but it's huge that Burress won't be around to draw the double team. It's also big that their 6 5 target is gone for red zone situations. They are still good, and may win it all but IMO they are a lot closer to the pack than they were before he shot himself. It obviously doesn't help that they lost Burress. I understand that and I haven't said that it does. All I said is that not having Burress isn't the reason they lost today.

If I told you the Giants would lose Strahan, Osi, and Shockey before the season, but they would still be 11-2 after 13 games, you would have told me that I was crazy. If the Cowboys lose tonight, the Giants are the NFC East champions. Not very many teams can win them all...not even last years Patriots. It's better (IMO) to lose them now, than in the playoffs. The Eagles were better today. The Giants have lost once this season before today and they bounced back from that...I expect nothing less this time. Great point
December 7, 200817 yr The guy replacing Plax, right??? Yep, what is your point? Plax drops passes to. Funny how a lot of people here claim that Plax isn't that good, but now that he's gone everyone here is trying to claim he was the glue that held it all together :laugh:
December 7, 200817 yr Not the main reason but it is a reason. And you can not prove that. The Giants have 3 wins without Plax over Seattle, Arizona, and Washington. They have proven they can win without him. The reason they lost is because Philly played better today.
