Good luck with telling yourself that the other receivers will pick up the slack. There will be no double teams needed and their best red zone target is no longer playing. It can still be done, but it got a lot tougher.

Actually their best red zone target this year has been Kevin Boss. As long as the Giants running game keeps it up, they will not miss Plaxico as much as everyone here predicts. They are still first in the NFL in rushing yards...
December 8, 200817 yr The Eagles are a Jeckel and Hyde team. Philly out played NYG, but was out played by Cincy.:confused: In all honesty, Philly should, at the lest, be 9-4 right now. There's no way they should have allowed Cincy to tie them. But, there are several other games they let get away... @ Dallas in Week Two they could have easily won that. And, I say they should have...a Brian Westbrook fumble cost them a W. @ Chicago in Week Four they couldn't convert from one yard out. Should have won. vs. Washington in Week Five they blew a 14-0 lead and then couldn't get in the end zone from the 2 yard line in that game. Its not a stretch to say that in those 4 games they should have at least gone 2-2 instead of 0-3-1. When they're on their game, I absolutely think Philly is the best team in the NFC other than the Giants. Its unfortunate that their inconsistencies and schizophrenic play has likely doomed them. However, I still think they control their own destiny. I don't see the Falcons winning their last three...and, if they don't, then Philly is in if they can win out. They're good enough to do that, but it won't be easy. I hope they do because I want to see the best teams in the post-season.
