FORT THOMAS - Highlands (12-1) will be looking to capture its 18th state title when it faces off against Christian County (12-1) at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville this Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

 

The key to Bluebirds' longevity of successful state title runs is due their ability to replace starters from previous years with backups and not miss a beat. Take for instance this season, Highlands returned only two offensive starters and was still able to find itself in the state title game with a plethora of first-year starters.
