As an atheist/libertarian I have a different "view" on things than most people. Figured it wouldn't hurt to share it...

Finally, some truth!

I have read some of the posts on here and it seems that many fellow BGP'rs are using this forum, and others, as a sounding board. I suppose to some extent we all do. However, I would like to think that I am secure enough in my beliefs, religous and political, that I could not be moved far enough one side or the other from my base. Still is interesting to read, and learn, something about you... so let's keep it up.:thumb:

Mostly because I like to express my opinion and explain why I feel it's justified.

 

To be honest though I've learned alot in here though, and feel as though this forum keeps me up to date on some world news that is often over looked.

 

But in all seriousness, I actually learn a lot from you guys (and gals). Plus a little debate is always healthy. I learn the holes in my viewpoints and how to better defend them. But sometimes, just sometimes, I come in just to see the Ludicrous Thread of the Day.

Just playing, but yes I do laugh often in here.

To witness, to help others, to encourage, to understand others, to just simply understand, and probably the most important listen (or in this case read)

 

That is why I like it here.

To help give interested people knowledge from the bible so that hopefully the kingdom will grow.

My primary motive is to spread the good news of Christ. Help, when I can, others who have questions about the bible as well as to learn about the mindset and theology of other faiths and to defend the Christian faith. I really enjoy this forum the most. I am secure enough in my beliefs not to be swayed . . . some call this close minded but I call it grounded. The Bible is the standard and that is what I try to use as the basis of any post.

I find P&R to be very informational & entertaining. I enjoy just reading through it as much as I do posting. When I do post I give much thought to my posting which sometimes leads me to research that helps me to be more informed. It is one of my favorite forums.

I do tend to fall more libertarian than not, but I like to view myself as pragmatic(for good or ill) and as such don't always see myself following much of any party line.

Yes, but PepRock keeps his morality entirely seperate from his political views (IMO, to a fault ) so in this context its only a slight difference.

I like to post in P&R just to let people know when they're wrong. I'm very non-partisan when it comes to fault-finding.
