Where did Tamron Manning play middle school ball at?

I'm not saying they are not legit. Just a lot of missed shots somewhere. There's only 4 or 5 players listed with rebounds so I would guess SC had some 60 to 65 boards. Then Ballard I would say had at least 30. Your looking at nearly 100 missed shots if the numbers hold true.

 

Whatever it is, Scott County opened the season against a ranked opponant and is 1 and 0. Congrats to the Cardinals.

Richie Phares was as dominant a player that I have ever seen put on the Scott Co. uniform tonight. Tamron Manning should be starting, for a freshman he played great. Euton had a solid game as well as Gelawn. Jackson struggled at times but Ballards pressure defense will do that to you. Great start for the Cards!:thumb:

That's 101 rebounds total for the game. Meaning there was 101 shots missed. Based on the fact that neither team shot 50% that's means at least 202 shots were taken. That's 50 shots per quarter. Am I wrong here? That's an obscene amount of shots.

It was a game, that just watching it made you tired. It was very fast paced and some what sloppy. But as fast as the pace was it wasnt as sloppy as it could have been.

Fast-paced may be an understatement when a shot is going up every 10 seconds or so. You could have had a 15-second shot clock and never had one time violation.

I think he went somewhere in the county. He played for Scott Co. last year as an 8th grader. I made the trip up tonight and watched a very exciting basketball game. The athleticism on the floor was just so impressive. Ian Chiles IMO is a lot more athletic than his older brother was. Obviously the big 4 for Scott Co. did some great things tonight (Richie, Dakota, Chad, and Ge'lawn), but I thought Manning really came up huge as for Scott Co. as well.

 

Also I witnessed 2 players who should be in consideration for Mr. Basketball (even though Hood is the favorite). Wesley Cox and Richie Phares both had great basketball games!

Ive seen all the top Louisville schools play this summer except for Manual. Cox is a top 5 player in Louisville. Hes a very nice player. The 7th region is going to be very competitive this year. J'town is the favorite, but IMO there is 5 very good teams in the region, and a few more good solid teams.

I agree. J'town is the favorite but there are atleast 5 teams that could challenge them, with Manual being the 2nd best team in the region IMO.

I'd say they called him for carrying atleast 4 times. I can't remember him turning it over much in the 2nd half. The 1st qtr he had a tough time and was much better as the game went on.
