What am I missing? I gave examples on why the team wasn't as good as people thought, and if you know football he gets more than two years.

 

Did anyone think of a coach who was let go after only two seasons, TJ has said he stays but the fanbase wants him gone....What issues am I missing?

 

The question is not how many years he gets/deserves. The question is what happened to all this talent we were told was there? Sure, there were some high-profile departures, but we've been told for several years the depth was in place to where reloading would be the only word we would hear.

 

Again, Jurich and Kragthorpe need to come clean on this matter, and then fans might give Kragthorpe the benefit of the doubt. In other words, it's in both of their best interest to start throwing Petrino under the bus, instead of being vague about what's wrong.

Looks like Alabama Larry and Rockmom get to ride the Kragthorpe bandwagon all alone! It's kind of like a bus...everytime there's a stop, some people get on, some get off. I'm glad I'm driving!

Go after Bowden, Fulmer, winners who can bring in their own staff, who can recruit, who can win..

You're saying Jurich makes decisions based on his wife's friendships? I find that extremely hard to believe for an AD at a D1 school, but if that is the case, then Kragthorpe is not the one who should be going.

I think he should be given at least one more year, if not two.

I don't know or care if he will be or not other than to say ...........we can only pray that he is there for life.

 

I will say that in all fairness he had the leftovet Petrino Thugs to try and coach. I will also fully admit that I was one that was calling for Brook's head at one time and I was wrong. I still have to question a lot of his coaching ability though. What it all goes back to is that it is U.L. and I really don't care.

Still not the point. Jurich and Kragthorpe need to come completely clean as to why things have fallen so far so fast. All during Petrino's time we were hearing about how great the recruiting had been; how there was so much depth; so much talent in the fold. They didn't all leave; or were we sold a bill of goods by Petrino on the talent that was coming in?

Fans would be a lot more willing to give Kragthorpe the benefit of the doubt if they had a little more information. As it stands, all we hear is a bunch of vague talk, which ends up looking more like Jurich is sticking up for his buddy at the expense of the program.

 

Hmmmm....Bobby Petrino not being totally honest...what a shock...I think that Petrino say the handwritting on the wall when he left and bolted when he could so that he could leave on top at Louisville so he could say look at where the program was when I left.

 

IMO I say give Krag another year with his recruits and see what happens...if there is not signs of improvement on and off the field then I say he goes after next year...but should give him a chance to at least start off next season....if they stink from the outset then make a change...but give him a shot at next year. If you get rid of him know during the final push for the remaining recruits you are not going to get them to come to a program in shambles...and the recruits that he did get may bold as well.

 

Trust me I know it is not easy watching your team struggle...I am a UK fan who watched the 'Cats go through several "rebuilding" years including the last half of this season...and I root for the Cards when they don't play the 'Cats. Gonna be a long winter and summer either way for Cards fans.

I don't really buy that argument from people. Petrino is a top 5 coach imo and there isn't a chance in the world UofL loses 6 games the next year if he's the coach. That offense was absolutely stacked with NFL talent and I don't think UofL would have lost more than 2 games if that many.

And all the "bad apples" he recruited never seemed to get in trouble while he was there either.
