I am stuck at work all night again. This is the 2nd time in 3 days. :irked:

No local bank...It's some corporate bank that Big Lots uses through their credit cards.

 

Morehead is not that happening of a place.

 

Does Morehead have some type of law against strip clubs ? In a town with so little to do, a strip club would be a gold mine for a business man in that area.

 

Of course, you'd have to go to Lexington to find the dancers :lol:

It's where this is a college town but nothing for the students to do....Especially on the weekends and that's why so many people go home on the weekends..

 

MSU and SAC try to do things on weekends to keep kids here but they have a tight budget and all the idea's i've heard were horrible and I suggested some to the head of it but they wouldn't go for it...It's the same old story with Morehead....

I have one nasty cold sore in the top corner of my mouth and it kills.

MSU doesn't even allow tailgating before football games...How stupid is that.

 

And MSU's president, Wayne Andrews, has a "Zero alcohol tolerance" policy for the campus and students but is such a hypocrite that he holds events ON CAMPUS and gets temporary liquor licenses....I can not stand him and I know a lot of people that feel the same way. I can not wait till I am outta there and any high school students that ask me if they should attend Morehead I flat out tell them it's not a great college, it's cheaper than most but has a horrible financial aid staff that screws up 90% of students paperwork and are bad to deal with, and the town is really boring.

I am thankful for my job, but I am just tired. I have been here since 2 p.m. and have to stay here until almost 7 a.m. Then I get to come back at 2 again.

 

AK has affected us some, but not as bad as it could be. One of the other departments is losing a couple of jobs due to it, unfortunately.
