Which is worse...

Featured Replies

Either one is just an early season loss. This isn't the same College Basketball of 20, or even 10 years ago. Mid-majors and small programs have much better players now it's a different game. These things happen in today's game and in the grand scheme of things won't be nearly as important to UK or UL as they are to VMI or WKU.

So that way when UK loses again, UK fans will have multiple perfect excuses right at their finger tips!:lol::lol:

One had to be worse because everyone jumped all over UK for their losses and UK fans wanted to return the favor a bit.

So...this is the "adult" version of "Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Boo-Boo"? :p:D

UL's loss is 10 times worse.

UK's not ranked, and playing horrible this year. No shocker there.

UL was the #3 team in the nation.

WKU lost quite a bit of talent off the Sweet 16 team last year.

WKU just lost to Murray State by 27.

I heard on the radio that WKU lost to Murray, and then bounced back with a big win against somebody before having this big win against UofL.

Doesn't change the fact that UofL's loss was worse, but eh, it's too early in the season for me to be heartbroken for my Cardinals.

In fact, the way Pitino was talking I think in a way it was good for them. Let them realize they're still in college for a reason and none of them are "Alan Iverson" as coach said.

Southern Illinois, I believe.

They were both upsets. Kentucky has rebounded somewhat from the loss and I am sure Coach Pitino will get the Cards to rebound also.

Much like UK is from VMI? But yet, they still get beat down from UL fans? :thumb:

Louisville meet Kentucky. Kentucky meet Louisville.

Not even close to as much as UK fans beat their own team down and I wasn't one of them anyways so I'm not sure why you're talking to me.

We've established that both are a loss, but personally, if UK were #3 in the country and got beat that bad to WKU, my bowels wouldn't move right for a week.

I am a fan of both UK and U of L so both losses hurt.....

I wasn't talking to you neccesarily, just the UL fanbase.

And yes, UK fans do beat their team down. Which is a bad habit... But UL fans are quick to jump in there when the opportunity arises.

Amen!

VMI was lights out when they bea UK, if they didnt shoot so well they would not have won. UofL was supposed to be a top 5 team in the country and they lose to WKU? UofL's loss is much worse (and sweet as well!)

VMI shot 48%....

We will find out soon enough which loss was worse. Right now, it's just two big L's to two bad teams. If UL rebounds like UK seems to have rebounded, this loss will not mean much in the coming months.
