LCA, forget about anything beyond next Friday. If you overlook the Bulldogs, they WILL bite you.

 

You've been there before; remember last year? You know the long bus ride there. You know the hostile atmosphere you will find when you get to their house. You need to be mentally prepared for all of that.

 

I imagine that they will have a special reception for their former teammate. Steel yourself; don't let them get under your skin (they will try), and don't wait for Hazard to initiate - take the fight (both physically AND mentally) right to them.

 

As I mentioned in the previous thread, focus ONLY on Hazard. As of NOW, they are your WORST ENEMY. Take no prisoners. "TRAMPLE the weak, HURDLE the dead; FIGHT to the end."

L.C.A. is a very good football team and a very well coached football team as well. Hazard is a good team as well or they wouldn't have made it this far. L.C.A. is imo too much though.

The playoffs are a different ball game all together. Hazard has the potential to explode on offense and has the athletes to match up with LCA in the secondary. LCA had better stay focused and forget about the regular season meeting, except for the the mistakes they made, those must be corrected. Olinger was off that night and he makes Hazard tick. LCA needs to get focused and continue to get better and buy in on the defensive side of the ball. Playing back in the holler will give Hazard an advantage if LCA does not completely focus on the ballgame.

Bluto, first of all, I am sorry we didn't get to meet at the game friday night. I was a little busy. Secondly, you guys are very balanced and are greatly coached. I hope that the boys remain focused on the task at hand and TCB. If they do that, they should be playing next week as well. Do our district proud and bring home the hardware.

I think the LCA coaches will put staying focused very high on the priority list, If we look at the route each of these two teams took in order to get to this point in the playoffs i have to think LCA will not have a problem staying focused and realizing Hazard is the only team they need to be thinking about.
