Sullivan will bring HC another scoring threat and a good defender.

 

Hopefully he can come back strong after missing all of last season. I would look for him to have a very productive season.

So who would those who were there say was the most impressive team?

 

I thought that Cov Cath looked very strong- with Shover and Isler in the line-up they will be tough. Maile is one heck of an athlete- in my opinion he was by far their best player. While I didnt expect to say it this year, SK looked tough against CCH- no real impact players, but the team plays well together and was very scrappy. Sorrell should be tough this year for them. Beechwood was another team that really impressed me- very athletic, and all of their players except the big man could handle the ball well. Dixie impressed me against Oak Hills, however Oak Hills played, in my opinion, a little sloppy.

Thanks. I think Isler might really turn some heads this year if he actually gets the ball. He's very physical and has a nice touch around the rim. Listerman is going to have to get his big men involved this year. No disrespect to the CCH guards but they aren't good enough behind the arc to live and die by the three this year IMO.

What was Sorrell's stat line? Who played well for Dixie?

 

Im not for sure on Sorrell's stats- but he definitely had an impact. As far as for Dixie- they have a guard (#23) who was pretty good and Pike was good as well. Pike though needs to just get more comfortable with the Varsity game and he will be VERY tough IMO.

I liked what I saw from Sorrell last season, and he's seemed to have grown a bit.

Why didn't Sullivan or Eastin play and who did Beechwood play?

I agree. I think they have Shover and Ives who can really shoot the three. Usually CCH has 3 or 4 guys who can hit the three consistantly.

 

I think they could have a nice inside/out game with Isler, Shover, and Ives. If Isler gets the ball a lot this year, I don't think there are many kids in NKY that will be able to stop him once he's on he block. Very physical kid with good size.

Someone may be confusing "Eastins". The Eastin from Dayton was sick, but not mono (originally thought to be mono), but he did play some minutes in this scrimmage against SGrove.
