Just think of how many of them would have higher totals if they didn't pull their 1's and 2's in the lopsided victories. I personally know that Highlands, St X, JC, Trinity, and Belfry would have higher totals if it were a real competition. But they have all pulled off the reigns out of respect.

That's a good point, and I too wish this could be true, but I have resigned to the fact that to get equal competition, I need to tune in on Sundays!

This is true in a perfect world, 3W, but some of them just don't have that many teams equal to them that they can play.

When your defense goes out there on the field and shuts people down, how many more opportunities does your offense get over the course of a game/season? For teams of this caliber, an extra 3 or 4 touches per game on offense is going to equal a lot of points.

Good point. Also I think that some of these teams have great football programs and have alot of young talent as well.
