That's not even laughable...that's the craziest thing I have ever heard. Why even have anyone vote if you just give it to a good catcher. Sorry doesn't work for me.

It may not work for you, but Westsider is correct. It works the same way for MVP voting. If the numbers are pretty much even the voters are going to give it to someone who plays the field over a DH more often that not.

If you are indeed a connoisseur of MLB then you shouldn't have any problem understanding that 1B is the easiest position on the field, and Catcher is the most difficult and also understand that for YEARS catchers put up mediocre offensive numbers yet command great contracts and continue to play. If anyone could play Catcher they'd put in someone who can swing the stick and just put someone back there to just catch the balls:lol:
