CCH has under achieved most of the year. I see this as an upset with Woodford going on the the 2nd round

 

I'd say a lot of that has to do with their starting Qb being out half the season and also playing a brutal schedule.

Reading about Cov. Cath. has become my weekly soap opera fix.

I'd say that the schedule had a hand in it, but they just aren't that good. Before the wheels got wobbly they looked to be an average team with a few standout players.

bucki, can something like that ever be made right? I find it hard to believe that this was a "mistake." Even if Woodford sent the real tape at a later date CovCath still wouldn't have the same time to prepare which means it can never be made right.

 

Not trading the correct tape is a coaching issue, alums emailing people is completely out of control of the school. Besides, haven't you been keeping up with the Park Hills Mafia? Those people are out of control!

 

Finally, what do you know about Woodford getting tape from another NKY coach? I see you didn't address that one which tells me you don't want to tell what you know.

I know that as of yesterday CovCath had not watched any film on Woodford

As for the alums emailing the Woodford coach's, just by his email address he has id himself ,he is not trying to trick somebody.Could this alums have a valid reason for asking? Maybe he works for a local TV/radio or webcast preparing for the game on Saturday, and how do you know he is a CovCath alums unless he said he was a alum.

To compare senting a outdated film to someone asking for information is not even on the level.All the coach's had to say was we do not give that information out then again how do we know the person is really a CovCath alumi

What advantage is there to giving an outdated tape? Woodford has run the same offense and defense for the last 3 years. I am telling you it was an honest mistake. And a new one was in hand come Monday.

 

As for the e-mail. The Alum came off as being a Woodford fan, concerned about one of their players. They found out it was an Alum by googling the e-mail address. Coaches showed me the e-mail.

 

I don't know anything about a team giving Woodford film. If this is the case, I would hope that no none would blame Woodford for getting as much tape as possible.

Let everything else sort itself out later. That might be a problem at CCH. Not enough focus is being put on what really matters...the young men who go out there and give it their all every fri. and sat.

Haven't said a word about this game at all and wasn't going to say another word about the CovCath football team this season, but if the Holmes Coach gave Woodford a tape of the CovCath vs. Holmes game who can blame the Holmes coach! The CovCath coach has twice did a number on Holmes, so as they say, you reap what you sow! Now in saying that, I really don't think the Holmes coach would do such a thing, I honestly don't think he would.

I personally know Coach Lickert and speak to him on a regular basis and doubt he'd ever do something like that since he is a very classy guy but after the past two seasons you never know.......I know it wouldn't suprise me if he did......

 

With or without that tape, CCH still wins IMO.

I hope you are going to be just as critical of the St. X staff; they threw the ball in the 3rd quarter, more than once, with their starters on the way to a 56-0 victory.

 

I didn't have a problem with it, but if you are going to criticize the CCH staff for it, why not X?

I hope for the boys and especially the seniors sakes that they do very well Saturday and put all of the outside drama that this season has brought aside and just play football! The coaching staff and the various other issues in the football program will be dealt with after the season is over I'm sure. Until then, let it go and cheer for your team.
