Lewis County 12 Bracken County 6

Final. The Lions get off the schneid, while the Polar Bears finish the season without a win.

How many wins has Bracken County had the last 4 years under the current coach? Have they thought about bringing soccer out for a chance?

I don't know about the last 4 years, but the current coach has only been the current coach for 7 or 8 games this season.

 BOO! No need for that!

Conratulations to Coach Josh Hughes on his first career win. Hopefully the program will keep players out and continue to improve in the years to come.

Bracken Co’s last win came in 2007 when they defeated Mansfield (Ohio) at home 20-6. In both 2006 and 2005, the team went 0-10. In 2004, they beat Bath Co 20-16.

Congrats Lions. Way to hang in there and get a win.

I think that was Manchester, Ohio - just a few miles east of Maysville.

It was Manchester, not Mansfield. Doesen't change anything though. Our all-time record is 5-55, and the current losing streak is 18. Since September 10, 2004 we are 1-44.:cry: I'm hoping that someone can comfort me with stories of thier program struggling like this before rising to become a quality team. I'm in no way asking for a state title. That would be crazy at this point. A 2 week trip through the playoffs would make me quite happy.

Wow! And the folks in Lewis Co. thought they have had a rough go of it for several years! Congrats Lewis Co. Hang in there, Bracken. It can only get better.
