King James
I would think Shelby Valley has one of the taller teams with it's top 4 front court players being 6'10", 6'3", 6'6", and 6'7"...

That is a huge top 4. You have GRC beat.....our front 3 could go, 6'9, 6'4. 6'6...then off the bench 6'8, 6'7 and 6'

With the addition of Adams, Shelby Valley this year has the one thing that mountain teams almost never have: true size. Mountain teams usually have great guards at state and shoot the ball well and have solid coaching, but get killed on the boards by bigger, more athletic urban teams and that's the difference. The last mountain team to go to Rupp with that kind of size was Paintsville. They did okay.
Wireman
East Carter starts 5 players over 6' with a couple of 6'7" guys on the post.
gold sunrise
:scared: that's gonna be tough to defend. And the good thing for GRC is most of these players are Sophomores.
SLINK
Southwestern's front line will be 6-8, 6-4, 6-4 with a 6-4 and 6-3 coming off of the bench. Not the tallest in the world, but with their lack of size for about 4 or 5 years, these guys are giants, comparatively.
jlaw
Here's a scary thought Ashland plays Shelby Valley, East Carter, GRC without a guy over 6'4".
Eta Rho
Holmes isn't the tallest team in the state but when Riley and D. Johnson aren't in you'll see the following lineup: PG- Housely 6'2 G/F- J. Johnson 6'5 G/F- R. Johnson 6'5 G/F- Pittman 6'6 G/F- Arnold 6'6 That lineup will be their toughest to defend since all of those players play more like guards. Teams with bigger big men will get in foul trouble trying to guard Pittman and Arnold outside.

Log Mountain Boy
No offense guys, but if you really want to know how tall everyone is you could probably take the total height of a starting 5 that is given and subtract 5 to 8 inches from that total to get an accurate total height. GRC4LIFE
Zollo is 6'8 Goldie. Who are the 6'8, 6'7, and 6'6 off the bench? Purvis and Daniel. There isnt a third with that height.

gold sunrise
Zollo is 6'8 Goldie. According to his mom he is now 6'9 1/4....has grown over the summmer. Who are the 6'8, 6'7, and 6'6 off the bench? See Goldie's post above. Daniels and Pervis are the 6'8 and 6'7. I stand corrected on the 6'6. I was thinking of Ryan Blair.....I asked him today how tall he was and he told me 6'4...
