November 5, 200817 yr I believe many will be anxiously awaiting the decision on the Secretary of Health and Human Services appointment. Howard Dean, anyone? Please God, no.
November 5, 200817 yr I can see Bill Clinton in a Deputy Cabinet position in charge of "Women's Health Issues" or something similar.
November 5, 200817 yr Please God, no. There have been rumblings of Dean for that post. IMO, that would be a PR nightmare to kick things off for Obama.

As HHS Secretary: We're gonna cure cancer, colds, the flu, then we're gonna cure heart disease, turrettes, and mental disorders, then we're going all the way to Washington DC to take back AIDS. YAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
November 5, 200817 yr I thought quite some time ago that Biden would be tabbed as Secretary of State, so I'm not even going to hazard any guesses.
November 6, 200817 yr Al Gore for the newly created position of Secretary of Technology!! After all he did invent the internet!!
November 6, 200817 yr Clinton as Attorney General?Unfortunately that is a very real possibility. I would hope that Republicans would filibuster Hillary's nomination would sail through the Senate with little opposition. I would like to see somebody more honest like Lanny Davis in the position.
November 6, 200817 yr I have heard John Kerry for Sec of State, Bill Richardson for National Security Advisor, Caroline Kennedy Ambassador to the UN. RFK JR, something to do with the environment. Jesse Jackson Jr name has been mentioned. Colin Powell has been mentioned for Sec of Education. I'm sure John Edwards is kicking himself now I think he would have been the AG.
November 6, 200817 yr I may have dreamed it but I thought the news was reporting that Jesse Jackson would be appointed. Most think that Jesse Jackson Jr. is going to fill his Senate seat.

The guy is ill tempered and whoever coined the term "environmental whacko," they must have had Kennedy in mind. The nation does not need somebody like RFK, Jr. harassing entire industries during a recession, they will have enough problems keeping their doors open for business. I also hope that you are wrong about Kerry. If we must have an extreme liberal as Sec. of State, then I hope that Obama will at least name somebody who is energetic and productive to that position. It is too important to turn over to a part timer like Kerry. I would much, much rather see Hillary in that position. Kerry is a slug.
