Absolutely correct. That is way too long of a way off. A lot of football and more important games for both teams in between now and then. Not to mention a spring football, workouts, summer camps and summer/fall practice and practically an entire next season before the next Rail Cities battle. We will take that one up on or about Oct. 24th, 2009.

I'm sure it's marked down on a lot of peoples calendar.

Raceland should have won this game. They did not play good fooball at all. I think some of the play calling by the coaches were pretty bad. By the way, does anyone know why Raceland does not have anyone kicking the ball for extra points? Every other school does. What is Raceland going to do next year?

I am so glad our teams are playing again. I think that it is a great thing for the neighboring communities. I am a member of Bridges Christian Church and it is predomiately a Russell crowd, but there are several of us Ram fans in the congregation. Our church tailgated prior to the game with fans of both schools. I couldn't due to being on the sidelines, but they said it was a huge success. I think school pride is awesome, but sometimes us crazy fans go too far! I can't wait until next October 30, 2009 at Ram Stadium!

 

Congrats to the Russell JV team, way to fight back. Congrats to our Ram JV team for going 8-1. A great year for a great bunch of young men!!!

HCT, I was just going to give you some pointers, some Texas Pete hot sauce or b.b.q. sauce (whatever you prefer) makes it go down much better.

I speak from experience, I have had to take several servings of our fowl friend on different occaisions :sssh::thumb:

Congrats again to the Raceland JV on a fine season, 8-1. Guys you are going to play a vital role in the coming weeks for the Rams. From the experience that you have gained this year getting in a lot of playing time in the Varsity games and also this JV team has also gained experience in continuing the Raceland football tradition by winning big in your JV season :thumb:. You guys are going to provide some vital quality depth for the Ram varsity going into the playoff run. You are the future and the future is now!
