It's being made by the same people who made COD 2 (which is reviewed as the worst of the series) so it goes without saying that this one is expected to fail as well... I really wish these call of duty games would become more modern, and even more modern that COD4. Everyone gets tired of playing the same old war story and it gets boring after a while.

Actually, COD2 was made by Infinity Ward, the same one that made COD4. Treyarch has made all the odd numbered ones in the series. My advice to those that want to play COD5? GO pick up COD 1-3. It's in WW2 and aside from a few tweaks, it's the same freaking game. It's like they learned nothing from the success of COD4.

November 2, 200817 yr ^ I knew it was either 2 or 3... I really have no desire to play this game, just doesn't appeal to me like COD4 did.. I do however want to play Dead Space and Fallout 3..

November 2, 200817 yr I've got COD5 reserved at gamestop, and I will be buying Gears of War 2 as well... I hope COD5's online is as fun as COD4's... if not it will fail as a game.

November 3, 200817 yr I'll be getting it at midnight! 5 more days:banana:.. Now on the other hand, I have alot of friends that play the Beta online and they said that they like the beta, but if it is anything like CoD3 I'm not going to be interested in it. Best thing to do, GoW2!
November 4, 200817 yr It's not going to be as good as cod4. Cod4 is hands down the best online game ever I believe. But I'll give it a shot. It's going to be a remake of cod3 with cod4 matchmaking. But I agree I'll be picking up gears of war 2 as well!
