I would like to comment on the play of Dayton Freshman Chris Pompilio, Man, he can play some Defense. I feel he's going to be one of the best in NKY in 2009. Good Luck Pomp!!

I believe that the backup is a kid named Scherwjohn (I probably spelled that wrong) but I'm not too familiar with him. IMO - it will be hard for Dayton to replace that scrambling ability that Sherlock brings to the game.

He's just flat out a great-hardnose football player. He may have played in the NKYFL, But I think it was for Bellevue or Dayton?

As of right now Schwerjohn is the back up QB and is a solid passer. He has gotten a lot bigger since his freshman year when he started QB for the frosh team, but he is still a decent athlete. Rogg is an excellent talent for Dayton. He is a stud on the basketball team, and he is a very good football player for it being his first year in the Dayton system. I look for a race at the QB position next year, which will bring out the best of both of them. As for who they are bringing back next year, they bring back everyone but a few starters. Richardson and Sherlock will be big loses, but they bring back their whole line except for one, and they bring back all of their skill players. Dayton should be able to turn heads next year, but I'm still looking forward to this week against Carroll County and next week when we travel down to state's capitol for a little playoff action. :ylsuper:

Schwerjohn did well his Freshman year and could be just what Dayton needs. Unless he has changed in more than size over the past years he would make a great leader for the devils...(Good Kid)

Yes, he is a very good ball player. He fills holes very well, and can read plays very fast. I looked for him to be a stud LB for three years to come.

I seen in the prediction thread for this game, some one said somehting about giving it a name. Has any one came up with any thing yet?
