Royal Spring is awful.

Also Elkhorn will probably not be playing Friday night as the conference finals s that night and they are favored to be playing Scott County. Elkhorn beat SC by 3 last night. Portwood has been playing limited for 8th due to recent ankle issues.

I am not taking anything away from Royal Springs. But look at the brackets. Who is going to beat them. Don't just say someone is awful... give me solutions. Make a prediction.

I can't get the brackets pulled up on my phone so I can't see matchups (BGP works well though). I just know Royal Spring is very average and will probably lose to whomever they play. I will provide predictions later.

The 3rd bracket has no clear favorite to me. Farnsley is a Louisville school from the PRP area. Could be a good team. Sebastian I have heard is a good team. Whitley Co. is a good physical team. Russell Co. will be ok, but without their star they shouldn't be a contender. And, you never know about the teams from the west?

The bottom bracket will be the most competitive. Scott Co. has to be considered the favorite. Ross Point could give them a game in the second round. I see Mayfield and S. Laurel in a great game to get to the elite eight. The winner of that game will more than likely face Scott Co.

That is the weakest bracket by far. I don't know who will come out of it. Russell Co. & Royal Springs are not great teams (they are good teams), but who is in it that will beat them?

Mayfield is really good, say them at Transy for a whole week.

They just won their district tournament last night. They'll be a difficult out no doubt. Tough to trap, they have a kid who can literally dribble through most zone presses. They're very aggressive on the glass. However, if they have a poor shooting night, they can take one on the chin just like anyone else.

I have seen McCreary Middle a few times this year and with Tyson Williams back playing with them they could be a dark horse to come out of the weak third bracket.
