What did you mean then? 1000s work at the IRS and you favor closing their doors. You are in favor of increasing taxes (abolishing tax breaks) for large corporations, which will cause job loss. Put on your politician boots, and spin it differently.

Yes. The IRS is an organization that represents, to me, the utmost form of government waste. And we know that government waste (as well as many type of government spending) bogs down our economy. Without these extra tax dollars needed, there would be less deadweight loss and the economy would grow more. The private sector would create more jobs- even better, they would not be funded by tax dollars.

My logic says we need to be careful when absent mindly throwing out half baked ideas that will effect many people. Whether you like it or not these people are at least gainfully employed. That means at minimum, YOUR TAXES, assuming you are middle class, YOUR'S John Anthony, will go up, I believe a MINIMUM of 5%. One of the tax accountants on here can verify that for me.

If Obama wins, you will quickly discover the difference of a moderate Democrat working with a Republican Congress and a far left wing Democrat working with a Congress dominated by left wing Democrats.

No offense, you know your stuff, but I dismiss almost anything from GWB supporters, he will go down as the worst president of all time and for good reason. We will be lucky if this recession ends by 2010. But we continue to feed out what 10-12 billion a month in Iraq, who said they want oil at 100 bucks a barrel and are setting up deals to ship there oil to China.

I make under 250k my taxes will not go up. Those who make over 250, after you hit 250 from there your taxes go up a breath taking 3% back where it was when Clinton was in office and when we were the super power of the universe. Again the Bluegrass historic low unemployment rate was during the Clinton admin, the same ideas Obama is trying to implement.

 

I don't get how you all want 4 more years to continue to give the richest people in America tax breaks but not the ones who need it. Its a fact, Kerry said it to Bush and he stood quiet on stage, Obama said it to McCain and had no reply.
