October 26, 200817 yr I say he will for no other reason than Coach Brooks made such a big deal about the fans booing him that he will never admit he was wrong about Hartline. Pointless thread, just wanted to hear who every thinks will start.
October 26, 200817 yr If he does, its the worst coaching move in the history of UK football. We need this win to get into a bowl game. I don't want to hear any garbage about being short at WR. Cobb is our best option and we need to use our best option to try to win the game.

October 26, 200817 yr Short, sweet and to the point, couldn't have said it any better myself:thumb:. That being said, I would probably place my bet on Hartline being chosen to start :madman::fight:
October 26, 200817 yr That being said, I would probably place my bet on Hartline being chosen to start :madman::fight: Yeah I'd have to agree as well on that one... We just need one more win to get eligible for a bowl game and we need to start people that will give us the BEST chance to get qualify. Sure maybe Cobb is better suited for the WR spot but he is our best option for QB right now and that is our biggest problem at the moment.
October 26, 200817 yr I don't even think it should be a question after watching them both play against good competition, but Brooks seems to disagree.
October 26, 200817 yr Do you think Brooks is preparing Cobb for next year when we have that stud quarterback in? Cobb will only play receiver then I would think.
October 26, 200817 yr Do you think Brooks is preparing Cobb for next year when we have that stud quarterback in? Cobb will only play receiver then I would think. I don't care about next season right now. We are 5-3 with 4 games remaining. Its time to do something with this season.
October 26, 200817 yr ^ I totally agree but that seems to be the way things are right now. Did anyone watch Brooks' press conference after the game? Did he address the QB issues? Or will he address it on Monday's press conference?

October 26, 200817 yr I think UK has a really good chance to beat UT this season, as well. I should say - that is with Cobb at QB.
October 26, 200817 yr Does Joker deserve any blame in Hartline's play this season? After all, he's in the booth calling the plays.
October 26, 200817 yr There seems to be very little doubt that Hartline will start, even though Cobb should. If he kept going back to Hartline despite how ineffective he was, Brooks is going to be sticking with him. Hope I'm wrong.
