Just curious to why you have the first two game locations listed in each region, but the bottom two just says (vs) and not (at)...Are there any reason why the best numbered seed would not have home field advantage?

Vs. means a home game

The games are listed in district order

What will be the format for 2nd round games in Region 1 ? Would the Lone Oak/Warren East winner play Allen Co/Muhl No winner ?

Region 2 could be shaken up once the ruling of Western, who has to forfeit up to the Valley game, is official. Western and Atherton chose not to play, so each will be given a district win and district loss. This puts both Atherton and Western at 2-3 in the district, so as long as Western beats Shawnee they will be third. Therefore Valley and Fairdale are playing for the non-cheater district championship this friday.

According to my sources, the Western coaching staff have made their players aware that they have forfeited every game prior to the Valley game. On Friday night the District 3 championship will be decided when Valley travels to Fairdale. It is also rumored that the 3 players in question will be ruled eligible for the remainder of the season. The official announcement should be coming soon.

Class 4A, District 3 Overall District

Fairdale 6 - 2 (3 - 0)

Valley 4 - 2 (2 - 1)

Western 1 - 6 (1 - 2)

Atherton 1 - 6 (1 - 2)

Breckinridge County 1 - 7 (1 - 3)

A monkey-wrench could really be thrown into the district race if rumors of Atherton playing an 8th grader in the Breckinridge County vs. Atherton game are valid. If that is true Breckinridge County would chalk up their second forfeit win of the season and would finish in third place in the district standings.

I'm going with Bell County to win it all.

And I'll take Boyle County for a thousand Alex!!!

Any more news out of Western about forfeited games. The KHSAA site still lists them as 5-2

East Jessamine plays Franklin County at home this Friday (Regular Season). With everything already settled on the district parings should you show the other team anything this week? It really means nothing. This is something we seen alot of last year when you played within your own district, but this year you play out of your district to start the playoffs.

I wouldn't. The pairings are set. I would try some different things but not show my whole hand

This is interesting to see how this turns out this week and in the playoffs.

If seeding holds, Harrisson and Lex Cath will play in week 2 of the Play-offs. This would be the fourth meeting of non-district foes in the past two seasons, with three of the four meetings to be held at Harrisson.

That is correct....Lone Oak and East in the 1st round...now there's a way to start the playoffs.
