I just want to add my congrats to the Musketeers! I am proud of how you guys have came out each week and played hard no matter the record and no matter the opponent. Keep it up!

Way to go GC you guys did a great job. I believe a shout out goes to the fans that were there, we were down in number but not in spirit and man did we cheer for the boys. Also way to go #26 on defense you rocked :ylsuper:,#25 nice catch for the TD. Defensive linemen if you play this way the rest of the year it is hard to tell how far we might go. Very proud of you all and Good Luck with the rest of the season you all deserve it. :banana:

I mean, outside of Boyd County's winning record, does anyone else come close to respectibility worthy of meriting a playoff appearance. If I had anything less than a 5-5 record I would forfeit my playoff appearance because it would be embarassing.

 

I agree this district is horrible, I mean Greenup Co. is going to host a playoff game and they aren't even close to being average. You have to play whoever the state places in your district and I understand that but still worse district I have ever seen.

Everyone said this last season also, did you guys that say these teams should not be in the playoffs because they cant compete, forget that Greenup came within apoint of beating a very good Harrison Co. team last year. It is High School football guys, you never know who will beat who.

Harrison wasn't very good last year the only reason they won the region was because Lex Cath was put in the region with Bell Co.

True, but look in the years past and this District you are bashing has produced quite a few surprising first/second round playoff wins.

 

On paper they do look weak, but not the weakest in the State as everyone is speaking. I believe every team in this District has really spruced up their non-district schedule to earn a little respect.

I didn't say it was the weakest in the state but I would say it probably is in the top of being the weakest.

Grayson drew the double team and Kitchen dominated. These two are going to be fun to watch develop in the next few years.

I highly doubt it. Goldsmith still has room for Lawrence Co. in his heart. No doubt this last tenure was tough, but he will be remember for has first round with the Bulldogs and the standard that is now set for Lawrence Co.

Lawrence County is a perfect example of what happens to a program when you have a change in administration and they are not football minded. You can bring in whoever to coach and it won't change much until the change happens at the top.
