October 23, 200818 yr A funeral is the only option. Morbid, sad and true. I've seen some internal things that show me Katie "gets it" long term. Waiting it out sucks... What's his health look like? :walk:
October 23, 200818 yr What's his health look like? :walk: Mike looks like he's got a lot left in him...
October 23, 200818 yr Mike looks like he's got a lot left in him... See, if it wasn't so good I would be more than happy to write a flattering obituary when the time comes. Mike Brown is the biggest fool in the NFL, I don't understand him. Does he think he is his father? How much failure can one man bring to a franchise and still think he ISN'T the problem?
October 23, 200818 yr Well as of yesterday evening it appears Vic Mackey is out of work. I think he could provide some solutions. :flame:
October 23, 200817 yr This thread is terrible. I wish no pyhsical ill will to Mike Brown, nor will I be happy if that circumstance would come to fruition. Morbid indeed, ladies and gentlemen...
October 23, 200817 yr Author This thread is terrible. I wish no pyhsical ill will to Mike Brown, nor will I be happy if that circumstance would come to fruition. Morbid indeed, ladies and gentlemen... I don't think anyone wishes any actual physical ill to Mike Brown. At least I'd hope not. The intent of the thread is to figure out ways to get Mike Brown to step down (or hire a GM). Nothing more, nothing less.

I agree, though the comments about Mike's passing were in jest, the sentiments on here are fairly accurate. It will take a change at the top, and the reality is that Mike is going nowhere. Unless Mike's appraoch changes from what it has been from the last 25 years, this team is stuck in mediocrity.

Well it sure seems like people are saying they can't wait for him to die...Which even though I am a big as a Bengal fan as they come. I still will not say I hope, I can't wait for him to die. I mean we are talking about someones life, and well that is something that is way more important than winning football. I think the best thing to hope for is one day he wakes up, and realizes you know what I want to win, and be the owner of a Super Bowl Champion. So he will go out and do the things that need to be done for that to happen. I know there is not a good chance of that, but that is the only thing we should hope for.
October 23, 200817 yr Author Maybe I should have worded the thread title differently. How do we get Mike Brown to step down? Is there anything that we can do?

October 23, 200817 yr While this may be the best option in theory, it's just not realistic. Many people have too much money invested in seat licenses and/or season tickets. They're not willing to lose that money, nor should they be. Then I have a hard time feeling sorry for them for making a bad investment in a company run by an obvious fool.
October 23, 200817 yr Author Then I have a hard time feeling sorry for them for making a bad investment in a company run by an obvious fool. Who's to say it's a bad investment? I'd guess that the majority of those who own a PSL bought it when the Bengals moved in to the new stadium circa 2000, or a few years before. That may or may not be the case, but there is money to be made in the PSL "business". Thanks to a few decent seasons, as well as inflation and other factors, the price of the PSL has risen. There's no doubt that you can make money off of PSL's as well as season tickets.
October 23, 200817 yr Do I want him to die? No. Reality is the only way things change is if he does... Thanks GT, more or less covers my POV.
