SK needs to set the tone early, this will be no day at the park. Both teams have everything on the line for the '08 season, hopefully it brings out the best of the Neers.

I wouldn't overlook SK. Yes, CC did it earlier in the season and they were at their most successful when the Sophomore didn't know any better. It waqsn't until he had 4 games under his belt that he realized he is THE MAN. SK may well have a youngster who still doesn't know he's the go-through guy, and can still have fun. If he is a runner, look out, this has a lot of makings for an SK win.

 

That is exactly what he is. He throws a nice ball but only time will tell if he can stay in the pocket and throw the ball. However, he is quick and shifty as a runner and will hurt you more with his legs than his arm.

Interesting, this sounds more and more like the '07 Camels.

I think the game is on turf so the rain will not be a factor. SK will play their best game of the year but the matchup favors the Camels due to a strong rushing defense.

Awesome! That is great to here. I hope I get out to see the game.

Can not WAIT for this game! I've been looking forward to this game for about 3 weeks and here it is. The Camel D will come fired up and ready to go against what seems to be a pretty good SK running attack. I believe the Camels win the offensive and defensive battles of the night and take home the W this week.

 

CC's defense thrives on playing strong runners and I believe they are perfectly capable of playing a little smash mouth with SK.

From what I saw in the SK-Boone game, I'm not sure SK has anyone to stop Bishop for CC. But I'm also not too certain that CC can shut down Simpson. Possible shootout that will likely come down to turnovers (as so many games do), but I think CC pulls out win in the end, 35-28.

You mean when they "controlled" Boone's rushing attack to 128 yards and Ryle's to 150? Simpson has over 100 yards in every game but two this year, and one of those was 85 yards against NCC. He's also had a game over 200 and one over 300. I'll assume SK must have something on the front line.

I said this in a previous game thread but the Campbell County defense was on the field the MAJORITY of the time in BOTH of those games because the offense could not get it going. This offense has gotten much better since those 2 games. This is a different Campbell County team then the team that played Boone & Ryle at the beginning of the season.
