It could have a very slight affect which is enough to sway a few important votes. I think that is the point. Is it going to actually change a vote? I don't need someone to point me in the right direction, I can think for myself.

October 18, 200817 yr Why does it matter? It would matter because of the respect that Powell has earned from both sides. Not sure how many votes it translates to but it would definetly be a boon for Obama with the independants, which is where this will be won.
