If I am not mistaken Ryle crossed mid-field once due to penalty until the 4 th quarter .Ryle scored with 1:12 left in the game.21 - 0 at the half.# 42 for BW had a big game along with # 40 and the rest of the Tigers,Great effort on both sides of the ball.

Does this put them in the championship even if they slip up against New Cath next week ?

I believe so...

Beechwood's current freshman team is one of the best Beechwood has had in years. With the current talent of our JV team, Beechwood football should continue to be awesome in the next few years.:ylsuper:

Isn't your JV team miserable? I think CCH was beating them something like 28-0 at half.

I agree though, I haven't seen a Beechwood frosh team roll through their opponents like this ever. I think they will beat Highlands by 2 TDS at least.

Impressive by the Tigers, they must have a squad to be beating all these larger schools so easily.

Great just great... considering I'm a HUGE Ludlow fan and our varsity hasn't beat you in over 20 years I find the fact that you guys are just getting stronger great!!!:fight: lol

So by your reasoning that would make CCH varsity somewhat miserable after losing to BW varsity 35-21 and were down 35 -14 ?

JV actually is not that bad.Problem is ,unlike larger schools like CCH,several BW players contribute alot on friday night(or thursday)on special teams and subbing in .I think it is diffucult to play that many minutes at full speed. They may not have the most talent on the JV but miserable is a little strong.BW had about 16or 17 kids there for that game vs about 35-40 for CCH,ALSO.It is not always about wins and loses ,but experience gained at the JV level. It is nice to win though.

There is a bright side -you will not have to play them on your homecoming next year .;)

Who are some of the key players from this year's Frosh Squad?

They have had an impressive run. The Championship game between them and Highlands should be interesting.

The Frosh team has pretty much slipped under the radar all season. Their 1's have given up "one" touchdown in 7 games. Boone punched it in (2nd qtr) after recovering a fumble inside the BW 10 yard line. Then BW ran off 37 straight points.

They don't have many standout players and they have "zero" egos...they are extremely well coached, well prepared, and very well conditioned.

Agreed, it will be a very interesting game between BW and HHS.

Is it a fact that it will be Beechwood and Highlands in the Championship?

As far as I know...

Honestly, not sure. I've only heard that the two conference winners play for the championship and supposedly the two teams were decided last night.

With Campbell beating Dixie it gives the Bluebirds the 1 st place finish on that side .Dixie beat HHS but lost to Holmes and Campbell.Campbell lost to HHS from my understanding.

Does anyone know when and where the game will be ?

Regardless of the outcome ,what a great season for the Tigers .With the sophmore class they have it should be a productive few seasons to come. From what I was told last night, next years team may be even better ,if possible.

Great job Tigers !:thumb:
