Also, ... did you see the ad that the Obama campaign ran in Arizona linking McCain to out of context comments from Rush Limbaugh? And done in spanish in a state where 70% of the hispanic voters historically support McCain? It was so blatantly false, that the only network that would run it was NBC. Not one person could defend it and it went away. If you haven't seen it then you haven't seen the FIRST big lie thrown out in this campaign, .. and it wasn't from the republicans.

Looking all throughout the P&R forum, I've started one McCain thread recently asking a serious question.

 

How many Obama threads have been started recently questioning his religion, relationships etc?

 

And to say "now that Obama is taking some hits you quit" insinuates that Obama was at one point in time not taking hits on this forum. During the election...that has not been the case for a very long time :lol:.

Ok, you get some slack. Still, Obama is no worse than probably a few hundred of his brethren in Washington. Problem is he is running on being different so he's going to be held to a higher standard. Kind of like Republicans and morality.

I respectfully disagree. Obama is plays or threatens to play the race card to keep his critics at bay. Most politicians' careers could not have withstood Obama's history of shady deals, his voting record, and his close ties to criminals.

 

There are politicians who have amassed much larger personal fortunes through corruption but they have been in Washington far longer than Barack Obama.

 

I am no fan of Nixon, but his record of corruption seems to have begun and ended with the Watergate cover-up. Nixon could not have been elected with a past like Obama's haunting him.

I can honestly tell you that I'm not a big fan of McCain, but serioulsy he has a lot less negatives in my eyes than O.

 

One other thing, when someone makes a good point about the fact that O has donated over $800,000 to ACORN, or that he voted against medical care for live babies the O supporters dance around the topic. Why?

 

McCain isn't the best choice in the history if this country, but O might be the worst. That's all most of us are trying to get at.
