Both teams play to a stalemate through the third period. Brossart recovers two Ludlow fumbles within sight of the goal-line.

 

Ludlow tacks on two late-game TDs, extending their lead to 27-0. Brossart answers on a Spencer Brown to Tony Woeste 32 yard scoring pass play to make it into the scorebook as a 27-6 Ludlow victory.

 

Brossart had 9 1st downs for the game. Woeste had a ton of yards for the Stangs.

Kind of scary for the Panthers to not show up the way they should've here. Especially with the likes of Grant Co., Lloyd, and Scoot coming up to round out their regular season.

Looked to me last night that despite the obstacles that they are having to overcome, that the coaching is starting to kick in.

 

Again grossly overmatched sizewise, the Mustangs were able to force numerous turnovers and moved the ball well in spots on offense.

 

Our freshman quarterback seemed to play with better confidence, and the line did a better job protecting him.

Brossart played hard throughout and did force Ludlow to turn the ball over. However the one fumble that Brossart recovered in the end zone, should've been a TD. The ball and part of the RB broke the goal line before the ball was knocked out. The one official signaled touchdown.

Brossart did play a very good game Saturday night. The game was a lot closer than the score indicated. Ludlow only had 13 points midway through the 4th quarter it seemed. I am sure the Mustangs just got tired. Hats off to them, they never gave up!

Honestly I never thought the game was in any doubt. Ludlow made a number of mistakes and errors that hurt them over and over thru out the night that IMO cost them a number of scores. They should have been up by 30 at the half and won by more then 40. To Brossarts credit they played hard and at least let Ludlow know they weren't just going to roll over and play dead for them.
