3 years ago, that part of the schedule would be a cake walk for Texas. Now, it's a field of land mines.
Sooners were held under 40 again.... ;)

And once again got nothing from the running game. How can you not run the ball when the D is getting gashed through the air. Bradford is amazing, but they'll lose another game or two if the ground game doesn't wake up...

Is OU chance at the National Title over now?

No, they will have to win out, win the Big 12, and like Ohio State last season hope the teams ahead of them all lose..

Amazing game, McCoy is an amazing QB, IMO the best in the country. Texas is good this season, I predicted them to win the game..

Funny:laugh::laugh:

I thought Texas but then again I was just rooting for the upset. I was hoping LSU wins so that SEC goes #1 and #2 with LSU and Bama

What's the point of this post? Did somebody say Oklahoma couldn't be held under 40? :sssh:

Who in the world would have proclaimed something as outlandish as that? Must be someone that doesn't follow the game very closely:lol::lol:

Oh my, I just couldn't help it:lol:

^Me either, and now that I've got that out of the way, I'll give OU some props. Their pass attack is as good as advertised, IMO.

They rung up 35 points against a top 5 team...that in itself isn't so extraordinary, but combine it with these #'s.

1) Take Bradford's numbers out and the OU running game produced 53 yards (2.9 ypc).

2) They had the ball for 22:50 and threw two interceptions.

3) Here's the OU TD drives...

  • 8 plays, 80 yards (2:43)
  • 8 plays, 74 yards (1:48)
  • 6 plays, 73 yards (2:37)
  • 6 plays, 51 yards (1:45)
  • 11 plays, 76 yards (4:22)

Their average scoring drive was an 8 play, 71 yard drive in 2:39.

Yes, technically, they didn't crack 40. But, I was thoroughly impressed. I had to get one shot in at GT, but that's it. Bradford and company are really good.

Is it just me, but didn't you say no one could hold them under 40? Didn't you say that they would score 40+ on anyone in the SEC?:sssh:
