A.I., Shawn Marion, Vince Carter, Lamar Odom & Josh Howard will all be available before the February trade deadline. I think the Nets will trade VC and some others to get ready to bid for LBJ.

I think this is the year Odom finally does get traded. He's not real happy right now but hes a good guy and will go about his business and keep playing hard.

Once again the big issue with Houston will be health. If they are healthy all year watch out.

Portland is going to be the biggest wild card this entire year IMO... They have a lot of talent, it's just about how fast they grow up...

 

Part of me really like that the Hornets brought in Posey, but another part thinks they could have used that cash elsewhere...

I feel like the Lakers are the team to beat out west, but I really like the addition of Posey to the Hornets. One of those under the radar acquisitions, but a real important one. Also a big reason I do not see the Celtics being as good.

I think the 76ers could be really good this year. They could be a contender in the east if the pieces fall in place.

 

I agree with HT on the Rockets. If everyone is healthy, I think the Lakers and Rockets should be the top two teams in the west.

The Sixers season, to me, is dependent on how Elton Brand can do this year. The Rockets are either set to do awesome or suffer the wrath of God for bringing in Ron Artest. They are two teams that, in my mind, have their chances for contending this season on one player.
