October 27, 200817 yr I feel like the Lakers are the team to beat out west, but I really like the addition of Posey to the Hornets. One of those under the radar acquisitions, but a real important one. Also a big reason I do not see the Celtics being as good.

October 27, 200817 yr I think the 76ers could be really good this year. They could be a contender in the east if the pieces fall in place. I agree with HT on the Rockets. If everyone is healthy, I think the Lakers and Rockets should be the top two teams in the west.

If everyone is healthy, I think the Lakers and Rockets should be the top two teams in the west. The Sixers season, to me, is dependent on how Elton Brand can do this year. The Rockets are either set to do awesome or suffer the wrath of God for bringing in Ron Artest. They are two teams that, in my mind, have their chances for contending this season on one player.
